Is it free?
Yes. Scans, insights, deals, and your venue page cost nothing. Cover sales are optional — if you turn them on, RollCall takes 10% and you keep 90%.
Where does the crowd data come from?
Your venue scans. Every photo or clip you post feeds live crowd level, headcount, and the charts in Insights. As RollCall grows in your city, your scans also show up on your venue page in the app.
How does the scan work?
Computer vision reads your photo or 3–5 second clip and estimates crowd level and headcount. Once you've done your walkthrough, each scan also recognizes which room it's looking at and updates that room's read. Nudge it ±1 if it's slightly off. Scans expire after 90 minutes so the data stays honest.
What's the walkthrough?
A one-time, ~2-minute recorded walk through your venue. RollCall builds your venue's model from it automatically — your rooms, roughly how much each holds — with nothing to configure. It's what makes room-by-room occupancy and smarter scans possible, and every scan you post afterwards quietly sharpens it.
Do my staff need accounts to scan?
No. Add your crew once and each staffer gets a fresh, camera-only scan link every shift — no dashboard, no numbers, no login. If your scan goes stale mid-shift, we nudge them by text (once SMS is connected) so the data keeps flowing without you thinking about it.
Do I need Stripe or any hardware?
No. Stripe is only for optionally selling cover through the app. Everything else runs in your browser with zero setup.
When do I show up in the RollCall app?
After we verify your venue. You can scan and post deals while you're in review — they go live the moment you're approved.
